Hello, my name is Arthur. I’m a software engineer at NoRedInk, where I’ve written Haskell in production for the last four years. Before that, Clojure at Nubank. Most of my career has been functional programming at companies that run it at scale — earlier on, Catho and Accenture.

I’ve been coding since I was 12. My main languages are Clojure, Haskell and Elm.

Outside work I run a small homelab, managed the way I like code to be: templated, validated and reproducible rather than hand-tuned.

I love the idea that you can build anything with software, good abstractions, and a lot of some patience. The beginning is hard, and there are a lot of tries and fail in the middle, but the feeling of getting different concepts and combining them together until you build something is like playing Lego, and that is the feeling that makes me love programming.

In my free time I mostly go to the gym, cook some delicious cakes, meditate, watch some series, do some yoga, play chess, and so on.
